Great American Cleanup
The Lee County Board of Commissioners will be hosting the annual Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 17th, 2010. The clean up event will begin at 9:00 a.m. Groups of volunteers will be gathering at various locations in Lee County. .
Board of Assessors Meeting Rescheduled
The regular scheduled meeting for the Lee County Board of Assessors on March 8, 2010, has been rescheduled for March 15, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the Lee County Tax Assessors office, 109 Leslie Highway, Leesburg, Georgia.
Fiscal Year 2009 Audit
The annual financial audit report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 is now available for viewing online.

Site Review Notice
In accordance with Georgia law, the must notify property
owners prior to making a site visit. Notice is hereby given that a representative of the
appraisal staff will review and inspect properties which are the subjects of an active building
permit for changes and improvements which have been made to the property. These appraisal
reviews will include measuring structures, listing construction information, and
photographing the subject property. A majority of these field reviews will take place between
January 4, 2010 and May 1, 2010. .
Department Relocation
The offices of the
Building Inspection, Planning & Engineering, and Environmental Health are relocating beginning
June 29, 2009 to 102 Starksville Avenue North, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. The offices of the Board of Commissioners, Administration, Human Resources, and Finance
have relocated to 110 Starksville Avenue North, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. All phone numbers to these offices will remain the same.
The Utility Services office has relocated to 111 Main Street, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. The new phone number is (229) 759-6048.
