Flood Extent Mapping

These maps show areas that flood at specific creek stages relative to the gauges that monitor water levels on these creeks. Flood extent mapping provides a visualization of areas at risk for flooding. These flood extent maps are produced using the USACE FESM to approximate flood extents. These models do not account for physical processes considered using more technical hydraulic modeling approaches.
