The census counts all people, of any age or status living in the United States. The census is a count of everyone living in the U.S. taken every 10 years. It is required by the constitution. Census Day is officially April 1, 2020. The census can be filled out online, on paper, on the phone, or directly to census workers. The Census helps your family get the education, healthcare, and public services you need. Census counts direct funding to programs like School Lunch, Head Start, SNAP, WIC, Medicaid/CHIP, and Affordable Housing. The Census is convenient, safe, and required.

The 2020 Census is easy. You will answer a simple questionnaire about yourself and everyone who is living with you on April 1, 2020. There will be up to four Census mailings through mid-April 2020, however let’s not wait we need to GET COUNTED NOW! If you know of someone that did not receive a 2020 Census Code or Questionnaire please have them call 1-822-330-2020. You can request your code.

There are three ways to response to the Census Questionnaire by mail, online, or phone.
