Bio: Billy Mathis, born in 1960, is married to Wendy Mathis. They have two children, Carly Mathis and Tripp Mathis. Mr. Mathis is a graduate of Lee County High School. He is a practicing Attorney of 37 years.

Mr. Mathis previously served on the Lee County Board of Commissioners from 1999 to 2006. In 2000 Mr. Mathis served as Vice Chairman on the Board and from 2001 to 2003 he served as Chairman. Mr. Mathis also served as a member on the Lee County Utilities Authority from January 2000 to December 2003 and served as Chairman from January 2001 to December 2003.
